The mission of St Patrick’s Catholic School “Christ be within us as we learn, grow and shine” speaks to all members of the school community.
As St Patrick brought Christianity to the people of Ireland so the Governors and staff wish to follow in his footsteps in providing a Christ-centred learning community for the children of South Leamington.
St Patrick’s School is proud of the diversity of its community bound together by our Catholic values and the values of the country in which we live.
St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery is one of three Catholic Primary Schools within the Catholic Parish of Leamington.
St Peters Church was built in 1864 and is the oldest Catholic Church in Leamington Spa. Our parish priest is Father John Cross, Father Benedict Skipper, is the priest Chaplain, he is the school’s Chaplain. Father Benedict is a welcome visitor who visits the school weekly and says Mass regularly in school. Father Benedict is always happy to meet with parents or carers of children at St Patrick’s School particularly in relation to the celebration of the Sacraments. The children make their First Communion in Year 3 and Confirmation in Year 6. St Peters Church has many groups and societies that provide assistance to others.
