The Summer Reading Challenge: Read to the Beat launches on Saturday 4 July, inviting children to enjoy a music-themed reading journey, earn rewards and celebrate their reading achievements. You can find out more at: summerreadingchallenge.org.uk
Alongside the challenge, libraries across Warwickshire will be running free activities, including music workshops, digital sound sessions, dance events and Summer Reading Challenge clubs.
For families looking for an additional reading activity, our Family Book Bingo encourages shared reading and can be completed alongside the Summer Reading Challenge.
There are also opportunities for teens, including Teen Book Bingo, the Young Poet Laureate Competition and our Young Volunteers Programme.

This week Reception have read the story the fish that can wish.
We have had a busy week: we had drawing club; on day 1 we drew the character, day 2 we drew the setting, day 3&4 we went on new adventures.
Our last adventure was what we wish to learn in year 1. We enjoyed writing our magic codes and sharing them with our friends.
