A calm and positive start to an important week, giving our pupils the chance to relax, enjoy breakfast together, and feel ready for their SATs. We are so proud of the hard work, resilience, and determination they have shown throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of last years Year 3 and Year 6 pupils for their thoughtful letters and drawings supporting the “Send My Friend to School” campaign.
Our local MP, Matt Western, has written to the school to share a special response from Baroness Chapman of Darlington at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
In her letter, the Minister thanked our pupils for raising awareness about the importance of education for children around the world and praised their compassion, kindness, and understanding of global issues. She highlighted how young voices can make a real difference in encouraging support for quality education for every child.
We are so proud that our children’s work has been recognised at both local and national level. Well done to all involved for showing such empathy, creativity, and commitment to making the world a better place. 🌍📚✨

As our Year 6 pupils begin their SATs this week, we keep them in our prayers:
Loving God,
Be close to our Year 6 pupils this week.
Give them calm minds and steady hearts.
Help them to remember all they have learned, and to do their best without fear.
Remind them that they are your children, loved, gifted, and unique.
May they know that no test can measure their kindness, creativity, or courage.
Bless them with your peace, and guide them in all they do.
